Virginia Allen is a former senior news producer and podcast host at The Daily Signal. She reported on issues related to the border crisis, national security, and foreign policy. Allen was also a host of “Problematic Women,” a podcast by and for conservative women.

Allen grew up in New England but went to high school in Georgia and earned her bachelor’s degree in government from Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia. After working as a missionary for a year in South Africa, Allen began her professional career at The Heritage Foundation in Washington, D.C. in 2018 before joining The Daily Signal in 2020.

During her tenure at The Daily Signal, she was a frequent contributor to Newsmax, OAN, and RAV, and made appearances on CNN and The Daily Wire. Allen was a guest speaker at events for and fellowship programs for the Network of Enlightened Women, The Heritage Foundation, and Alliance Defending Freedom.
