BIOGRAPHY

Virginia Grace McKinnon is a journalism fellow for the Daily Signal. She reports on Congress, covers press conferences, congressional legislation, and general activity on Capitol Hill.

Originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia, she earned her bachelor’s degree in political science and journalism from Old Dominion University in 2025. She joined the Daily Signal first as a reporting intern covering politics.

Along with her coverage of Capitol Hill, she reports on the economy, work, and free enterprise for the Daily Signal. She also assists with the “Signal Sitdown,” a weekly podcast hosted by Bradley Devlin.

Her policy interests include energy, pro-life, MAHA, and strengthening the American family.

McKinnon previously wrote for Campus Reform at the Leadership Institute and has appeared on Real Americas Voice commentating on college news from a conservative perspective.
