After ‘Revolutionary’ First Year, What’s Next for MAHA?

FIRST ON THE DAILY SIGNAL—Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will celebrate one year of the Make America Healthy Again movement in a speech on Monday.

The event, hosted by The Heritage Foundation and MAHA Action, “will highlight key actions taken during his first year, reflect on lessons learned in rebuilding public trust, and look ahead to remaining priorities.”

Kennedy and Heritage President Kevin Roberts will have a conversation followed by a “panel of leaders engaged in restoring American wellness across policy, legal action, and coalition building.”

“Together, we will examine what it takes to move beyond rhetoric to measurable reforms, confronting chronic disease, realigning incentives toward prevention, expanding meaningful choice for patients and families, strengthening transparency, and elevating independent science,” the press release says.

Jay Richards, vice president of social and domestic policy at The Heritage Foundation, said Kennedy would “likely be the most consequential secretary of [the Department of Health and Human Services] in our nation’s history.”

“For those of us concerned about the biomedical security state, and the massive spike in chronic diseases among our youth, his first year in office has already been revolutionary,” Richards said in a statement. “We’re delighted to be able to host him for the first anniversary of his confirmation.”

Jennifer Galardi, senior policy analyst for Restoring American Wellness at The Heritage Foundation, stated, “It is an honor to have Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. come join us to celebrate his one year anniversary as Secretary of HHS.”

“Despite being one of the most popular members of Trump’s cabinet, we are aware that even conservatives buy into the lies and propoganda that surround him. Secretary Kennedy is always welcome at Heritage where we value open and honest debate about some of the hardest questions in health and science – ultimately with the same goal to Make America Healthy Again,” Galardi stated.
