EXCLUSIVE: ICE Arrests Continue Following Dallas Shooting

Immigration and Customs Enforcement continued arrests of criminal illegal aliens across the U.S. in the days following a shooting at an ICE detention facility in Dallas on Wednesday.  

“Our ICE agents are heroes for risking their lives to get these dangerous criminals off American streets,” Department of Homeland Security Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said.  

ICE agents are facing a 1,000% increase in assaults since the Trump administration launched its targeted campaign to arrest and deport illegal aliens, specifically illegal aliens who have committed crimes in the U.S. Agents have also faced criticism from Democrat lawmakers, such as Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, who has called ICE agents the “modern-day Gestapo,” and California Gov. Gavin Newsom, who has likened agents to “secret police.” 

“In the face of sanctuary politicians comparing ICE to the Nazi Gestapo, the Secret Police, and slave patrols, the brave men and women of ICE continue to remove these monsters who are the worst of the the worst and should never have been in our country,” McLaughlin said.  

A shooting at an ICE facility in Dallas on Wednesday morning further highlighted the increased violence against immigration enforcement officials. Authorities have identified Joshua Jahn as the suspected shooter who fired on the immigrant detention facility, killing one detainee and injuring two others. No ICE agents were harmed in the incident.  

The shooter took his own life after opening fire. Bullet casings found near the deceased shooter read “ANTI ICE,” and a note uncovered in the investigation into Jahn read: “Hopefully this will give ICE agents real terror, to think, ‘is there a sniper with AP rounds on that roof?’” 

The shooting is being investigated as an “act of targeted violence,” Joseph Rothrock, Dallas FBI special agent in charge, said during a press conference Wednesday morning.

Following the shooting, ICE continued making arrests of the “worst of the worst” criminal illegal aliens on Thursday, including illegal aliens who have been convicted of aggregated sexual assault of a child and lewd acts with a minor.

Ronaldo Munoz-Portilla 

Ronaldo Munoz-Portilla is from Mexico and has been convicted of aggravated sexual assault of a child under 14 in Dallas County, Texas.   

Carlos Romero-Obregon 

Carlos Romero-Obregon is also from Mexico and was previously convicted of attempted gang assault in New York City.   

Kingsley Ariegwe 

Nigerian Kingsley Ariegwe has been convicted of attempted sexual intercourse without consent in Montana.   

Hector Monzon-Colindres 

Hector Monzon-Colindres is from Honduras and was convicted of unlawful restraint in Austin, Texas.   

Marvin Adonay Hernandez-Montes 

Salvadorian Marvin Adonay Hernandez-Montes has been convicted of lewd or lascivious acts with a minor under age 14 in Los Angeles.
